Our springtails are seeded in fresh culture medium at least one month before sale ensuring your culture is booming upon arrival. They are fed on a weekly basis with our own food formula made from brewers yeast, fish flakes, high protein fish pellets and freeze dried bloodworms. These are a must have for any bioactive terrarium and play a crucial role in the biosphere that is your terrarium. Springtails are responsible for cleaning and maintaining a healthy environment as well as providing nutrients for the plants (and the occasional snack for the inhabitants).
